Leading up to our first book club read in August, here is a fun conversation Joanna and I had with author Hafsah Faizal about her young adult fantasy duology series Sands of Arawiya (We Hunt the Flame and We Free the Stars) and Blood and Tea (A Tempest of Tea and A Steeping of Blood). Hafsah also talked about how she fell in love with reading and some crazy dreams she had that led her to writing books! Additionally, she shared a message with readers who felt seen and represented in the pages of her books and gave some advice for aspiring authors!
